ABOUT US

Advaitha Ravishankar, co-founder and creative head of Advait, launched the label in 2020 following her graduation from the London College of Fashion. The brand is rooted in a practice that moves fluidly between art and fashion, guided by both discipline and instinct.
At its core, Advait is driven by an enduring obsession with painting. What began as a personal, almost daily ritual has grown into an expansive archive of original artworks; each one an exploration of colour, texture, and form. These works are created independently of collections, allowing a more intuitive and uninhibited approach to take shape.
This evolving body of work forms the foundation of every collection. Rather than being applied, the artwork is translated into fabric, retaining its depth, irregularity, and tactile quality, before being subtly built upon through hand embroidery and surface interventions. The result is clothing that carries the sensibility of a canvas, rather than a print.
Material choices follow the same philosophy. Fabrics such as Hemp, Bemberg, and Tencel are consciously sourced through certified suppliers, reflecting a commitment to integrity, longevity, and responsible design.
Since its inception, Advait has been recognised by leading publications including Vogue, Elle, and Bazaar, and has developed a global following among artists and celebrities.
